The Military Order of the Cootie (MOC) is the Honor Degree of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States. Dedicated to "Keeping ’Em Smiling in Beds of White,” Pup Tent #14 proudly supports hospitalized veterans, veterans’ welfare programs, patriotic service, and fellowship among combat veterans.

Through volunteerism, camaraderie, and community involvement, Pup Tent #14 works alongside the VFW and VFW Auxiliary to support veterans, military families, and patriotic initiatives throughout our community.

Our Mission

• Supporting hospitalized and disabled veterans

The primary mission of the Military Order of the Cootie is supporting veterans receiving medical care and assistance.

Pup Tent #14 members proudly support:

• VA facility support activities
• Veteran morale and wellness programs

• Veteran companionship and support services

Veteran Support and Community Service

Pup Tent #14 participates in a variety of veteran and community support activities, including:

• Community volunteer projects
• Veteran outreach events
• Patriotic observances
• Memorial ceremonies
• Assistance to veterans and military families
• Support of local VFW programs and events

Supporting VFW and Auxiliary Programs

The Military Order of the Cootie works closely with:

• VFW Post 1433
• VFW Auxiliary 1433
• District and Department programs
• Veteran service initiatives

Patriotic and Memorial Activities
